Original pencil drawing on archival quality toned paper with colour highlights features pilots and ground crew gathered around RAF Hawker Hurricanes of 257 Squadron during the Battle of Britain, 1940. The pilots will get some brief moments of respite before being scrambled again to intercept incoming Luftwaffe aircraft.
This drawing is presented professionally triple mounted using high quality acid free conservation mount board. It incorporates a brass plaque engraved with the RAF crest and is framed ready for display.
Set into the mount are the original signatures of the following RAF Hurricane legends:
