Original pencil drawing on archival quality toned paper with colour highlights featuring Messerschmitt Me110G-4 night fighter of IV./NJG1 climbing out into the evening sky over the Rhine delta, ready to take up station in anticipation of incoming raids from RAF Bomber Command. The aircraft is fitted with both the FuG 202 and FuG 220 Lichtenstein nose mounted radar assemblies, which will enable the crew to locate their targets on even the darkest of nights.
