The aircraft is from 132 Squadron, 125 Wing, part of the 2nd Tactical Air Force. It is June 1944 and the Allied liberation of France is just underway. The squadrons of the 2nd TAF will play a vital role in the weeks and months to come as the Allied forces fight their way towards Germany.
